For 2024 MTMS will host an Excursion in Travelers Rest, outside of Greenville SC. April 13th – 14th. Travelers Rest is close to wonderful riding, with Paris Mountain and the Swamp Rabit Trail close by. This is the second Excursion , the first being in Blowing Rock NC.
These trips give riders a chance to see well deserved areas of riding That most may not have considered. The Upstate Major Taylor Cycling Pedalship host and lead all of the rides.
There will be plenty of riding with good food and beer.

NOTE FROM MACC MEMBERS: For those planning on using a GPS unit for these routes, we strongly encourage you to download the routes into your technology before you travel. Riders who have tried to pair their phones with their head unit have found that there are too many disruptions to cell coverage in the mountains for this to work. We will also have old school hard-copy maps for everyone to use as a backup. Ride safe.
