The Major Taylor Mountains Summit (MTMS) is an annual event that brings together cycling enthusiasts from Major Taylor clubs across the United States. Held in the picturesque town of Helen, Georgia, this summit offers a unique opportunity for participants to engage in rigorous spring training amidst some of the most challenging and scenic routes in the region. The summit not only fosters camaraderie among cyclists but also celebrates the spirit of adventure and perseverance that Major Taylor himself embodied. Participants will have the chance to conquer the famous Six Gap Century climbs, explore beautiful mountain lakes, and ride through serene, low-traffic roads. Whether you’re a seasoned cyclist or new to the sport, the MTMS promises an unforgettable experience that combines physical challenge with breathtaking natural beauty.
